Where We Love to Dine
Pancake Pantry is Our Family's Favorite Breakfast Spot in Gatlinburg.

During our multiple visits to Gatlinburg, we explored several breakfast spots, but this one became our absolute favorite—a clear standout in every way. From the moment we arrived, the experience was nothing short of exceptional. The staff here truly understands the art of hospitality. Even though there was a line outside (a testament to their popularity!), it moved quickly thanks to their efficient system with paper numbers to keep things running smoothly. Once inside, the warm and attentive service made us feel right at home. The level of dedication and politeness left a lasting impression on our entire family.

The Breakfast

Let’s talk about the food—absolutely superb. From the fluffy buttermilk blueberry pancakes to the Austrian apple walnut crepes, every dish was perfectly crafted. The pancakes achieved a flawless balance of flavor and texture, complemented by wild blueberries and what seemed like their own spun whipped butter and cream. My eggs were cooked to perfection, showcasing the kitchen’s attention to detail. On another visit, we tried the waffles, bacon, and toast, and the quality was just as outstanding. Even the small customizations, like adding blueberries and blueberry compote on the side, elevated the meal to something truly special. Every bite reminded us why this became our family’s favorite breakfast spot. This restaurant didn’t just serve breakfast—it created a welcoming and unforgettable experience. If you’re in Gatlinburg, don’t miss out on this gem. Our family will always cherish the delicious memories made here, and we can’t wait to return!

LeConte Tapas & Grill: A Culinary Gem in the Smokies

As someone who spends plenty of time soaking in the magic of Gatlinburg with my family, I’m always on the hunt for exceptional dining options. Recently, one restaurant has risen above the rest: LeConte Tapas & Grill.
Atmosphere: LeConte’s offers a sophisticated yet welcoming ambiance that feels like a refreshing escape from the typical tourist traps. Whether you’re planning a romantic date night or a lively family gathering, the elegant yet casual atmosphere makes it the perfect spot for any occasion.

The Food: LeConte’s tapas menu is nothing short of a culinary adventure. Say goodbye to the tired, greasy options often found in town—here, each small plate is a masterpiece of flavor and creativity. We were blown away by the watermelon tataki, a refreshing and inventive amuse-bouche, and the lamb lollipops were absolutely divine. My personal favorite? Order the Chef’s Vegetarian and pair it with a side of steak for an unforgettable combo.

While the tapas are the star, the larger plates are equally impressive. The steakhouse selections rival the finest establishments, with succulent cuts cooked to perfection. And if you’re a seafood lover, the lobster ceviche comes highly recommended—I’ve heard many call it the best they’ve ever tasted.
Insider Tip: LeConte boasts a stunning outdoor patio that’s ideal for summer evenings under the stars. As the seasons change, the cozy firepit becomes the perfect gathering spot to enjoy delicious food and drinks with a warm, crackling ambiance. Be sure to make a reservation ahead of time, especially during peak season—this hidden gem is quickly becoming a favorite for locals and visitors alike.
