Theater Systems - Use and Connectivity

Our theater rooms are designed to provide an immersive viewing experience, equipped for watching DVDs, cable TV, and connecting your streaming devices.

OVERVIEW OF THE SYSTEM

Blu-ray Discs and DVDs

Our system includes a Blu-ray player, and we provide a collection of Blu-ray and DVD discs for your enjoyment. You're welcome to bring your own, or you can rent them at several Redbox locations nearby, including all Food City grocery stores.

Cable TV

Our theater system is connected to cable TV, which includes most sports channels like ESPN. However, please be aware that movie channels are not included.

 

Streaming

You'll find an HDMI cable available for connecting your devices. This cable features a male connection suitable for devices like Apple TVs and laptops. Unfortunately, it does not support Firesticks or Google streaming devices. If you plan to use such devices, please bring a male-to-male adapter, as we do not provide these.

Important Guidelines

To ensure that all guests enjoy a seamless experience, please adhere to the following guidelines:

Equipment Connection:

Connections Do not tamper with any of the equipment connections. You may only connect to the provided HDMI cable.

 

Prohibited Actions:

Connecting or disconnecting any other cables or attempting to connect directly to the soundbar, HDMI switch, TV, or projector is strictly prohibited. Doing so can damage the equipment and disrupt service for future guests.

 

Fees:

Should we discover any disconnections or equipment malfunctions after your stay, we will charge the card on file a $150 fee, plus any costs for replacing damaged equipment, which can be quite significant (projectors can cost up to $1,200).

We enforce these guidelines to ensure that every guest has a fully functional theater experience. Thank you for your understanding, and enjoy your movie nights!

TV OPERATION

To ensure you enjoy your stay to the fullest, we’ve made it easy for you to access the entertainment options available. Here’s a quick guide to operating the TV:

  • To get started, use the provided remote (matching the TV brand or universal remote) to power on the television. Please make sure the TV is set to channel 3. From there, use the smaller cable network remote to browse and select your preferred channels. e

  • |f you're planning to stream from a connected device, remember to switch back to channel 3 and reconnect HDMI 1 or HDMI 2 as needed for your streaming services.

  • Should you encounter a “No Signal” message or any interruptions in service, a simple restart of the system usually resolves the issue. Just power down the devices and restart them.

  • For added convenience, a TV channel guide is available by pressing the “Guide” button on your remote. e

INFRARED
SAUNA

INFRARED SAUNA USES GUIDELINES

Preparation

Hydrate well before using the sauna. It’s Important to drink water before, during, and after your session to stay hydrated.

Temperature Settings

The sauna is pre-set to an_ ideal temperature. However, you can adjust it to your preference. Please consult the control panel for detailed instructions.

Session Duration

We recommend starting with a 15-20 minute session and gradually increasing up to 30-40 minutes as you become more accustomed.

 

After Your Session

Relax and allow your body to cool down naturally. Continue to hydrate and shower if desired.

SAFETY NOTES

Consult a Physician

lf you have any health conditions, such as heart disease, respiratory issues or skin sensitivity, consult your doctor before using the sauna.

 

Children

Sauna use is not recommended for children without adult supervision.

Pregnancy
Avoid sauna use if you are pregnant.

You should preheat the sauna to your desired temperature before entering.

Approximate preheating times:

  • ​100°F (38°C): ~20 minutes

  • 115-120°F (46-49°C): ~25-30 minutes

  • 125-130°F (52-54°C): ~35-40 minutes

  • 135°F (57°C): ~45-60 minutes.

CAUTION

Exit sauna immediately if your feel dizzy, sleepy, or any discomfort.

Our goal is to ensure that you and your family have an unforgettable experience while staying with us. We would like to remind you that this unit and its furnishings are privately owned. We are dedicated to maintaining the property so that guests like you can continue to enjoy it for years to come. With your help, we can ensure this home remains in excellent condition for everyone. To make the most of your stay, we kindly ask that you supervise children during your time here to help avoid any accidental damages. Treating the property with care helps prevent unexpected costs and keeps the home in great shape for future guests.

Here are some common mistakes that can lead to damages:

 

  • Sitting or standing on the hot tub cover

  • Placing foreign objects in the hot tub

  • Drawing on walls or furniture

  • Damaging window blinds

  • Climbing or jumping on furniture

  • Roughhousing on theater seating

PLAYGROUND
RULES

We are excited to offer a private playground that includes a rock climbing wall, swings, a slide, and a treehouse. However, for the safety and well-being of your children, we kindly ask that you follow these important guidelines:

Supervision: Please do not leave your children unattended at the playground at any time. We recommend close monitoring of your children, especially because of potential wildlife in the area.  

Weather Considerations: Children should not use the playground when the surfaces are wet from rain or snow to prevent slips or injuries. 

Playground Safety: This playground is designed for children aged 6 to 10, and all use of the playground is at your own risk. The use of equipment in any way other than its intended purpose is prohibited.

Footwear & Equipment Use: Proper footwear is required for all activities. Please ensure that your children follow all playground rules, such as holding on to swings with both hands, not standing on the swings, and sliding feet first on the slide.

 

We truly appreciate your cooperation in making sure the playground remains a safe and fun space for all of our guests! To make the most of your stay, we kindly ask that you supervise children during your time here to help avoid any accidental damages

HOT TUB

HOT TUB PROCEDURES & PRECAUTIONS

We're delighted to offer you access to the hot tub as part of your relaxing getaway! To ensure your safety and enjoyment, we’ve taken the time to completely drain, clean, refill, and sanitize the hot tub before your arrival. We use non-chlorine-based chemicals, which are gentle, though they may occasionally cause slight skin irritation or allergic reactions with prolonged use for some individuals.

 

To maintain the cleanliness and safety of your hot tub experience, please take a moment to review the following guidelines:

The following individuals should NOT enter a hot tub:

  • Pregnant women 

  • Babies or infants 

  • Young children 

  • Anyone with diabetes, heart disease, high/low blood pressure, infections (viral/fungal/bacterial), or open cuts or wounds

Additional Guidelines:

  • Please avoid using the hot tuo under the influence
    of alcohol or narcotics.

  • Children must be supervised at all times while in the
    hot tub.

  • If you feel dizzy, faint, or nauseous, exit the hot tub
    immediately.

  • For your safety, avoid bringing glass objects, soaps,
    bathing oils, bubbles, alcohol, or other liquids into
    the hot tub area.

  • Please do not place any objects on or inside the hot
    tub cover. Damage to the cover may result in a
    replacement fee of $350.

  • Always keep the hot tuo covered and securely
    locked (straooed down) when not in use to ensure
    safety and to helo maintain the water temperature.

GAS GRILL

HOT TUB PROCEDURES & PRECAUTIONS
  • e The grill on this property is connected to a propane tank. 

  • To use the grill, please ensure that the red shut-off valve on the floor of the deck is in the vertical upright position. Simply turn red shut-off valve to the open position, set the temperature to high, and press the ignition button. 

  • Should the grill fail to ignite or if the propane tank is empty, feel free to contact us for assistance by calling 865-233-2390 and selecting OPTION 6. We're always happy to help!

FIREPLACE OPERATING
INSTRUCTIONS

Please follow these simple steps to safely operate it:

  • To begin, locate the timer switch on the wall to the left of the fireplace.

  • Turn the dial past 10. (Please note, there will be a short delay before the fireplace ignites.)

  • When you're done, kindly turn the timer back to the off position. (There will be a brief delay before the fireplace shuts off.)

 

Important: Please make sure the fire is completely out before leaving.

WOOD-BURNING FIREPLACES

Firewood can be easily purchased at nearby stores. Please note that matches and lighters are not provided. For your safety, we kindly ask that you ensure all fires are fully extinguished before leaving the property or retiring for the night. Please DO NOT attempt to remove the ashes from the fireplace yourself. Once they have cooled completely, place the ashes into the metal pail provided.

 

FIREPLACE USE

Fireplaces are operational only during the winter months from October 1 to April 1.
